In order to get into Raja Ampat Islands, the tourists have to fly to Sorong. There are some flights available from Jakarta City to Sorong. However, there is no direct flight from Jakarta to Sorong. The plane has to stop first in Hasanuddin International Airport in Makassar. From Makassar, the flight to Dominic Edward Osok Airport in Sorong takes about two hours.

This Airport requires the visitors to pay for open tag. The tag costs $19 for Indonesian resident and costs $37.5 for non Indonesian resident. Having the tag, the tourists are able to enter Raja Ampat Islands freely for one year.

Misool Island is one of the four biggest islands in Raja Ampat Islands. In the east side of the island, there is a line consisted of some coral islands. The island is close to open sea which becomes a passing way to some big sea creatures such as whales. From afar, the water surrounding the island is dominated by turquoise color.
